The Training 1- Gen Z Workshop held on October 21, was a one-day workshop specifically designed for Generation Z members. Titled "Fighting Pseudoscience," this workshop engaged young participants in activities intended to bolster their ability to critically assess the trustworthiness of scientific information and combat pseudoscience. The workshop provided a non-formal educational environment where participants were invited to engage in playful learning using digital educational tools. The sessions were facilitated by youth trainers, who guided the participants through interactive and experiential learning activities. They used games to make learning enjoyable. The goal was to help young people become better at recognizing real scientific information.

The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many young attendees appreciated the engaging and interactive format, noting that the use of games made the learning process fun and memorable. Participants felt more confident in their ability to identify false scientific information and expressed a desire for more such workshops in the future. The hands-on approach and the supportive environment were frequently mentioned as highlights of the day.


The Training 2 - Trainers Workshop was a three-day workshop from October 23 to October 25 and the target group was youth workers and educators. This workshop aimed to teach educators how to use fun and interactive materials to teach young people about critical thinking and checking scientific information. The sessions were led by three trainers with the help of university professors, media literacy experts, and IT professionals. The goal was to give youth workers new tools and methods to help young people think critically and understand media literacy.


Participants in this training also reported high levels of satisfaction. Many educators found the workshop to be highly informative and appreciated the practical tools and techniques provided. The collaborative and non-judgmental atmosphere allowed for open discussions and idea sharing. Participants felt that they left with valuable resources and strategies to apply in their own educational settings. The support from the trainers and the interactive learning activities were frequently highlighted as key benefits.
